Facebook rolls out a new feature that will enable web portals to share the social network's content on their site. 'Embed Post' will make it possible for people to bring timely public posts from Facebook to the rest of the web.
However, all Facebook posts cannot be embedded, only those posts whose privacy settings are set to public can be embedded.
According to theannouncement, the feature is currently being tested with CNN, Huffington Post, Bleacher Report, PEOPLEand Mashable pages. However, Facebook promised broader availability soon.
This is the second Twitter feature copied by Facebook this year. Earlier in June, Facebook introduced hashtags, a feature that was synonymous with Twitter.

MOVIE REVIEW:No Satyagraha for team Anna
Prakash Jha is on a collision course with Anna Hazare’s supporters. The speculation that Prakash Jha’s new filmSatyagraha is based on Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption movement and that Amitabh Bachchan plays Anna Hazare while Ajay Devgn dons Arvind Kejrilwal’s role, is gathering momentum.
The latest on this front is that Team Anna has asked Prakash to show them the film.
However, in what could be considered a defiant development, the director refuses to show the film to them.
The intrepid filmmaker, known to take on political dissenters during the release of his earlier films, says, “They are free to buy tickets and see the film when it releases on August 30. It’s a free country. No one can stop anyone from seeing any film.” Beyond that Prakash refuses to be sucked into any debate on whom the film is modelled on.
“Characters in Satyagraha are not modelled on Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal. People are free to speculate. During Raajneeti there was widespread speculation that I had made a film on Rajiv and Sonia Gandhi. I know there is a suspicion among Anna Hazare’s supporters that I’ve made a film on him. My film is about a jihad against corruption. But it is not based on any one particular character or campaign.”
He then quips, “Just as democracy is our birthright, films about cleansing the democratic process are every filmmaker’s birthright. Every film about fighting corruption has its own logistics.”

But trust me as the end credits roll out, you might actually want to see if these folk exist, and if there is a chance of having a discussion with them. Set in the 70’s The Conjuring is a throwback tribute to the classic The Amityville Horror style of film making. So we have the creaking doors, eerie groans, watches stopping at 3:07 in the morning, and other bad omens that signify the presence of a demonic entity. Ghost hunters Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) take interest in the Perron family after a series of strange occurrences in their new Rhode Island house start troubling them. The paranormal investigators dig up the house and its surroundings past revealing facts and making claims that shake the very core of the Perrons.
What’s hot
It is an old school horror film, one that doesn’t necessarily dig deep into your psyche, but plays more on the sights and sounds of its story line. The cinematography, art work and set design is outstanding. We actually feel like a part of the period and are constantly reminded of two cult films –The Exorcist and The Omen. The first has been remade and rehashed over the last few decades, while the second is still remembered for its haunting background score. The Conjuring uses elements from both these films to create an original setting. There isn't a single dull moment, you are on the edge of your seat rooting and praying the family triumphs over their satanic adversary. Make up and special effects are remarkable. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are fantastic and keep it real as detectives who are facing their inner demons before hunting those on the outside.

There is hardly anything to complaint apart from the fact that we wish the material and factual evidence collected for the film could have been documented in a better way.

Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 to fetch highest figure in cinema's history...Yesterday Shah Rukh Khan’s Eid release Chennai Expresswas in the news for the satellite rights of the film, which have been acquired by upcoming channel End Films, owned by Zee group for Rs40 crore.
Yesterday Shah Rukh Khan’s Eid release Chennai Expresswas in the news for the satellite rights of the film, which have been acquired by upcoming channel End Films, owned by Zee group for Rs40 crore. The record for the highest satellite rights of a film belongs to Salman Khan’s Dabangg2 (Rs44 crore). It is learned that the channel will cough up more than the said amount if this Rohit Shetty directed film if/when it crosses the Rs100-crore mark. Barely 24 hours after the news of CE being sold at Rs40 crore on satellite, comes a bigger shocker. Two channels – Colours and Sony – are vying for the satellite rights of Aamir Khan-starrerDhoom 3. The price that the two channels are offering is a whopping Rs75 crore.
Why the big bucks?
Dhoom 3, from Yash Raj Films is a huge and a hit franchise. The film is carrying great reports. Aamir Khan holds the distinction of having India’s biggest hit (3 Idiots) to his credit, so it is logical that a film that he is so confident about is most sought after. And in this one he is – for the first time in his career – playing a baddie. He has gone all out for this film. He has learnt swimming for months because he needed to shoot some underwater scenes. He has also done the kind of action he has never attempted before.
Adds an industry insider, “Aamir has surpassed himself with this film. He is an perfectionist and always pushes himself to the limits but this time it looks like he is out to prove a point. He has paid equal attention to the romance part in the film as well. he rehearsed for two months for one song in the film! Now that’s dedication.”
Added attraction
Dhoom 3 is also the first time that Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen together on the screen. The actress who comes with the ‘lucky’ label has seriously upped the glamour quotient. There have been reports that she will be sporting a bikini for the first time.
Similarly, Dhoom and Dhoom 2 had John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan, respectively as con men. WithDhoom 3 Aamir Khan wants to be the ultimate bad man and break the record he created on Christmas (2009) for the biggest hit with 3 Idiots. A source said, “Aamir is supremely confident about Dhoom 3. He has been heard telling people that if there’s one film that can touch Rs300 crore it is Dhoom 3 and everyone knows Aamir never talks loose.”

The studio has spent Rs150 crore in the making of this film. Rafique Gangjee from YRF says, “TheDhoom franchise, like all our films, is very dear to us. Dhoom 3, which releases this Christmas, is the most anticipated film of the year. In the years to come, we certainly look forward to more Dhoomsequels.” Trade analyst Komal Nahata says, “Prior to Chennai Express, the film which fetched the highest price for telecast rights on the tube was Dabangg 2 which fetched Rs44-45 crore. However, Komal says he hasn’t heard about what price that Dhoom 3 is fetching, “I do know that Colours and Sony are vying for it but the market forces wouldn’t justify that. A more real estimate would be Rs55-58 crore.
Dhoom 3 is a very exciting film and it will get the highest price till date. It will get a better price thanChennai Express as every new film breaks the records of its predecessor.”
Jayantilal Gada, CMD of Pen India, the agency that acquires satellite rights for End Films confirms, “The price for satellite rights of Chennai Express is Rs40 crore plus and not Rs48 crore as reported. The price is Rs40 crore plus for seven years, with a link to box office performance. I am not in competition to buy the satellite rights of Dhoom 3, so I don’t know how much the satellite rights are being negotiated for.
YRF always sells their satellite rights to Sony. It can’t be true that Colours is competing for it. If YRF is getting Rs75 crore for the satellite rights, it is a huge price. Both the prices of Chennai Express andDhoom 3 are not justified as because of different channels vying to buy the rights, the price gets inflated.”

Claiming that there was a political conspiracy behind the controversy, he said there was no connection between her drive against the sand mining mafia in Noida and the government’s decision to suspend her.
“My government has already taken stern action against the sand mafia. This incident has no connection with the sand mafia,” he told reporters.
Akhilesh said the government anticipated communal tension due to the demolition of the wall of a mosque under construction in Kadalpur village which was done under Durga’s supervision. “There are some forces that are trying to vitiate the communal atmosphere in UP,” he said.
However, sources say Noida district magistrate Ravikant Singh’s report on the incident states that no force or heavy machinery was used to demolish the wall, and that the villagers had demolished it themselves.
Questioned on this count, Akhilesh said, “Apart from the DM’s report, we also had the local Intelligence report and other inputs about communal tension brewing in the area.”
He also took on the IAS lobby making a hue and cry over the suspension. “Where was the IAS Association during the past five years,” he said referring to the body remaining virtually defunct during the Mayawati regime. He said it was the Samajwadi Party which had revived the UP IAS Association.
In fact, the annual ‘IAS Week’ was not organised during the five years of BSP rule (2007-2012). It was only after the SP government took over last year that the IAS Association organised its ‘IAS Week’ in which Akhilesh Yadav was the chief guest.
“Where were these IAS officers when one of their colleagues died a few years ago and it could not even be established whether it was suicide or murder? We have always respected the democratic tradition. But the processes will be followed,” he said. “The action which has been taken (Durga’s suspension) is correct,” he asserted, indicating there was no room for review.
Meanwhile, sources said the Noida DM’s report to the government on the incidents of Kadalpur village states that Durga was asked to visit Kadalpur, where illegal construction was being done on government land, and settle the matter amicably after the administration learnt of the encroachment.
The residents of the village were asked to either seek permission for the construction of the religious structure from the government, or demolish the illegally constructed parts.
Kadalpur village residents chose to raze the illegal construction on their own, the report states, adding no JCB or any heavy machinery was used to demolish any wall, as the government has suggested.
The report, with inputs from the district police as well as other administrative officers, also says there was no communal tension or the possibility of clashes between the two communities.
