Take a first extended look at Idris Elba as the icon and Naomie Harris as his wife Winnie Mandela.Nelson Mandela biopic to premiere at Toronto Film Festival

The film adaption of Nelson Mandela’s memoir Long Walk to Freedom will have its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September.

Idris Elba, the ‘Luther’ star, would play South Africa’s anti-apartheid icon in the film. The other films to be screened at the festival include The Fifth Estate, a film based on Julian Assange starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the WikiLeaks founder. Colin Firth starrer The Railway Man and August: Osage Country with Meryl Streep will also debut at the event.
